Comments:

My dad passed in Porter, Maine. He enlisted in Mass. 1950. Feb. 3, 2019. He
was in the 73rd and was tank driver.

I served in the 73d Tank Bn from Aug 1956 to Jun 1657. I was first with C
Company as exec, and last as Company Commander
A Company.

Comments:

I am the oldest son of Ronald William Edwards. He fought in the Korean War and was a tank commander. I believe he drove Centurians. I also know he was quite a boxer and I have a couple of pictures of him in a tank and in the boxing ring.

My father passed away over a year ago now and very rarely talked about his tours of duty. I'm trying to piece together some understanding of his experiences.

Any information that might help me in my search would be appreciated.

I am president of the 73rd Tankers Association and my goal is to locate as many members of the 73rd form 1948 until it was deactivated in 1997. We have a reunion coming up in April.
