Comments:

My dad was James Clifton Lewis. He served in the Korean War with the 30th AAA.
Any info would be amazing. He passed away in September 2017. I need closure.
If any of you have information, it'd be very graciously recieved. My dad was
my hero.

I was Battalion Radio Repairman for 30th AAA in Pusan, where I
would Inspect/Repair the Radios on the Gun Towers situated
around Pusan harbor, etc.

Was there in 1953 when the Truce was signed, and although we
kept our weapons, we had to turn in our Ammo.

Subsequently, many of us were released fro Active Duty, and
placed on a Troop Transport vessel, which returned many of us
to the US, via Seattle.

I was with Battery C on several gun sites, Little Castle, the
one at the coal yard on the water, the one at the 55th Qtr
master and then in the motor pool until our unit went to Japan
when I stayed another 14 months with the new radar guns.
Anyone that was there and remember this is like me, old.

I am looking for information on my great uncle, Pedro Garcia
Trevino. He entered service in 1950. He served in the 30th
AAA in Korea and was wounded in 1952. He was from San Benito,
Texas. We have a picture of him wearing a 4th Army patch, but
he was in 30th AAA. Was the 30th attached to 4th Army or
something?

My father in law PFC Duaine Alderman just passed away and we are trying to find out something about his service in Korea in this unit during that time. Can anyone help the family with this information? He never talked about it himself. Any information would be helpful.
