I am looking for information and personnel who was with my uncle when he was killed in action at Chupa-ri, Korea on September 01, 1951. We are looking to try and get his medal upgraded to the Medal of Honor for what he did when he was killed. We need the names of people who was there when the incident took place. We are also looking for the following personnel who can possibly assist us; Capt. Elmer E. Eckert (52053295), PFC Edward Meyer, Capt. Harry Moore, 2Lt. Mineo Inuzuka and 1Lt. Grover Gerdine, any one with any information on these people or has first hand experience for this battle please contact me.
