Hey guys, I am trying to locate anyone I served with at JSA, to be able to verify my service there for the VA. The fire at the records division in St.Louis has really put a crimp in our verification process. I had a few different jobs, security for mail runs, bus driver to the ville, armorer, and primarily jobs that were not on the typical duty roster. Anyone that can provide incidental verification of my service there, for the VA, will be appreciated. Y'all Take Care! JFKIII

Served on the DMZ mission with CSC/2-503 Inf Bn from February - May 1987. During that time, our company sent out more than 180 mounted and dismounted patrols. The company mainly operated from Warrior Base, but also had one mounted patrol housed on 4P1. Our Heavy 4.2 Mortar Platoon occupied a fire base on Camp Liberty Bell. The Recon Platoon provided sniper teams for the guard posts and our anti-tank platoons used their night sights on the GPs for surveillance. You can contact me at: 2IDA.Mail@charter.net

Welcome Home Fellow Korean Vets !! I served in Korea From Jan 1967 - Feb 1968 with Co. B 2nd Eng ( Combat) Bn , 2nd Inf Div APO 96224 !! Company B was just across the road from Camp McGovern ,RC#2 ,village of Nopae Dong !Approx 2 miles south of the Imjin River. My company spent the vast majority of 1967 performing operations north of the Imjin River and on and along the DMZ. We erected fencing along the Z,cleared mines around the Z, erected some GP posts along the Z. during the summer of 1967,we had one man step on an M-14 mine losing 1 foot. We were ambushed twice while working on the DMZ. I CAN'T BELIEVE how the DOD, Penigon, United States Government keep sweeping the Korean Vet under the carpet , we're getting screwed by our own government. There HAS TO BE a way to rectify this misjustice . Hold your heads high brothers, job well done ..............

I did not serve at the DMZ but I was stationed with the US Army Broadcasting and Visual Activity Pacific, north of Seoul from January 1960 to March 1961. We also had the VUNC Radio Transmitter. I consider myself as a Korea Veteran but not in the same light as the men that served on the DMZ. If I can be of some help I will.
