Thank you very much for your responses - I will try both of these suggestions immediately. If anyone has any detailed knowledge of my father please let me know as well. Thank you.

I am trying to gather information from anyone who may have known my father Melvin Lee Mabry. From what I understand he was a Sgt of Guards with the 25th Signal Construction Battalion around 1952. I have in my possession several of his belongings and wanted to know what they are. If anyone can help me please e-mail me. The items are: - a rectangular light blue pin with a rifle surrounded by silver leaves with a star in the middle. - a red, white and blue patch with the letter 'A' - two patches with three 'v' marks at the bottom and a curved shape at the top. - several circular pins with 'us' and a mark of what appears to be and 'x' with a paintbrush through the middle with two boxes on either side of the 'x'. - a letter for guard duty that includes the names: Henry Gordon, Brooks Hall, Joseph Johnson, Johnnie Lockett, Clyde Poole, Willie Gardner, William Coper, Emanuel Everett, William Campbell, Robert Burgess, Otha Bailey, Elijah Aycock, Peron Griffin, Thomas Rogers, Archie Richard, Arthur Beasley and Carroll Wright. It is signed by Napoleon O Wilborn 1st Sergeant. Dated November 16, 1952. If anyone listed knew my father or can give me detail on his belongings, please contact me at foxybrown257@msn.com. Thank you very much for your help.
