My Father died July 4, 2015
In Ocala Fla.
He was in the 32 Infantry in the Korean War.
He had run away and joined the service and really was only 16 yrs old.
His mother Carolyn Fitzgerald tried to get him out of the service but by the
time she was able to get anyone to help her my Dad had turned 18.
Myna father shared many photos from the war and I believe he me's said
he drove a tank? They held a pining service at the hospice house to honor
his time in he service. With his frail 82 yr old hand he struggled to salute
our flag during his service. This is how I will remember my Dad, he, using
all his strength to show honor to a Country he fought for so we could be
free.
Every Fourth of July I will honor his name as I watch the fireworks of
celebration for the Freedom so many lives gave to the citizens of this great
Country. Did anyone serve with James A. Fox from Maryland?

I recently wrote an article on Task Force Faith, the 7th Division unit wiped out at the Battle of Chosin Reservoir, for www.wikipedia.com, the free online encyclopedia, which may be of interest to folks associated with the 32nd Infantry. The 1/32 was part of the TF; Lt.Col. Don Faith, cdr of the 1/32nd, was the TF commander, was KIA, and received the CMH.

Just wonderedif anyone remembers the 32nd infantry after 1953 serving in Wijamboo and Pusan. My friend William Moutoux suffered severe frostbite and has had circulation problems ever since. He remembers being in the 42nd Hospital for pleurisy and pneumonia. was in the advanced Armored Division that trained at Fort Knox. Spent six years in Korea. He is now very ill with cancer. Any notes from other Korean Veterans would be very nice. You can send them to my email address as he doesn't have a computer
