Hello Ken

I did not know your father, but one of the things I remember about Heartbreak ridge relates to Fox Company.

We spent a month taking Heartbreak Ridge but in one of the early assaults, Fox was several hundred yards on our left trying to take one of the main peaks. We were in reserve while another company was ahead of us doing the fighting so we were able to watch the Fox company attack. I still remember seeing them get to the top and being thrown back and the shouts of 'medic' over and over again. There is a book you should find that tells the story of that time in great detail with Fox Company mentioned several times. Heartbreak Ridge by Arned Hinshaw. It is in our Dallas library and I have seen it available on the internet. Good luck with your search for information. Jim Parker

Looking for someone who served with my father Louis Baccetti @ Bloody Ridge and Heartbreak Ridge. My dad has told me some of his experiences, but I'm looking for someone who served with him that can share with me (his son)more information. My dad doesn't talk much about his time served but has opened up somewhat recently. He is very humble and won't go into any detail of what he did.
