Assigned to original 7th AFDS formed at Sandia Base, Albuquerque, NM, February of 1951, shipped to Goose Bay, Labrador, November, 1951; and rotated back to Walker Air Force Base at Roswell October, 1952. Served the balance of my enlistment and was discharged there December 27, 1954, having been assigned the whole time at Walker to the 509th Bomb Wing. I suspect I may have just missed you at Goose.
The original members hold an annual reunion which, this year, 2005, will be in the Chicago area on September 13, 14, 15. Look forward to hearing from you.
