I was on Chodo from mid '52 till mid '53 as the Fixed Wire
Communications Operations Supervisor (i.e. Teletype, Crypto
and Switchboard). I'd love to connect with anyone/everyone
who served there during that time.

Trying to find information about my father's service time
on Chodo Island. What unit he was in would be very helpful.

I know he worked with the radios on radar. His name is
Edwin Fortier. Thank you.

Any other controllers still alive from the 606th AC%W 1951
to 1952? We were on that hill called Old Smokey and I am
still alive and kicking. Also anyone remember Kenneth
Grimes or know if he is still among the living?

Hi Guys,
Was on the hill at 608th det. 2 back in late 53 and through most of 54. Radio op on the hill. Remember bedcheck charlie well. Know of any sites with info on PY-Do? Looked around but haven't found anything.
Retired now from 20 yrs in retailing followed by 25 yrs of owning/operating a restaurant.
Would love to see what the island looks like today!
Don
