Arrived at K-8 in Jul. 52 and I do remember this incident. So many rumors going around, I never did make the effort to find out all that took place. Good old Kunsan by the Sea (Riviera of Kunsan)
I was assigned in the 3rd Air Base Group as a Personnel Specialist. I think I was the only airman that walked around wearing two piece marine fatigues, argle socks, baseball cap and a blue shirt.

I was a gunner with the 8th Bomb Sqdn in 1952.
I have put a lot of pictures on a web site that were
taken at K-8 of me, people, and planes during my stay
at Kunsan AB. Please take a look (make sure you have
lots of time) and email me if you recognize anyone
or have a comment. Thanks
