Was assigned to 307th Bomb Wing, 372nd Bomb Squadron, Kadena AFB, Okinawa. I was assigned to a B-29 flight crew as an electronic countermeasures operator on a modified B-29. The 307th was scheduled to fly on the 27th , stood down due to truce, on 28th flew to Japan testing there defense’s.
