Trying to reconstruct records destroyed in St. Louis fire for my Father, 1st Lt Ralph E Jacobs, died 23 Jan 51 in Chungchon area. We know he was with 8th Air Force, 8th Fighter-Bomber Wing, 49th Fighter-Bomber Group, 80th Fighter-Bomber Squadron, C Flight, Kimpo, South Korea flying F-80s at the time he was shot down. We know he was assigned Clark AFB from roughly Dec 49 to Nov 50 and we have pictures of him in a P-51. We also know that from Jun 48 to Dec 49 he was with the 20th Air Force on Guam - perhaps flying B-29s. Any help would be appreciated.
