Site CHOP & chief clerk of this remote(!)communications site in the boonies with a long drive into Nagoya, Part of 1st Comm Sq located in the Yamato bldg in downtown Nagoya. We shared the site with a crypto group, common mess hall open 24/7 especially for coffee, which i lived on those long months. Got named Airman of the Month & promotion here and remained here until i rotated back to the U.S. in November of '56. We had our own special "hotel" downtown with pretty girls & comfortable beds & mama-san took good care of us! Anyone share this memory?
