I was there from 86-93. AAVS desolved into the base communications squadrons around 92 and where refered to as (VI) Visual Information flights. From my understanding, VI now falls under Public Affairs. There where many changes: Combat Camera, Video to name just two over the 7 years that I was at Scott.
There are several people from AAVS/Combat Camera on Facebook. Take a look and you may find some of your old co-workers from back in the day.

Waas assigned to the 1361 aavs from 1981 -1984. Was curious if anyone else has been to this site that was stationed there. I'm interested to find out what happened to the Det and some of the people I was staioned with.
