I was assignedto the 4661st supprt sqdn.. Woked in the crypto
section in base comm across the street from the bank.... Left
in 1965 for colorado springs (NORAD) and retired 1968. Msgt...

Comments:

My grandfather was a civilian electrician at HAFB through the
late 50s and 60s. My father however was stationed all over
thru 44. I am trying to locate Clark Brewer who was stationed
at HAFB the end of 1952. He was from Louisianna. Any help
you can provide on alumni or sites to locate records on pilots
stationed at HAFB would be appreciated.

Comments:

I processed through Hamilton AFB in Sept of 48, and departed Sept 30, on the usat Gen DE Altum. The trip lasted 15 days. We arrived in Yokohoma Japan on the 15th of Oct. I was assigned to the 41st ftr sqdn, Johnson AFB. We flew the F 51 Was there 3 years. Left ther on Oct 15 1951 In may of 53 I returned to the Far East and Koeria and 17th bomb wg,95 bomb sqdn.
