in accordance with these criteria will count as one day
toward the 30 or 60-day requirement.
Personnel who serve in operations and exercises conducted

I was in the 7th Ftr Bomber SQ at Itazuki AF base Japan from Jan 1954 to Oct 1954. My DD 214 say I am elegable for Good Conduct Medal, National Defence Service Medal, Korean Service Medal, and United Nations Service Medal. I got the ribbons for my uniform but never got the Medals. I was a Aircraft Engine specialist during my 4 years active duty from Jan 22 1953 to Jan 21 1957, Inactive Reserve from 1957 to Dec 31 1960. How would I apply for the Medals so I can pass it on to my Grandchildren. Walter O Peterson

I was stationed at K-13 outside of Suwon, Korea during the conflict. The airbase had F-86 fighter planes that supported the fighting troops. Our outfit built K-13 earlier in the war and our job was to maintain the airstrip when I was there. My outfit was the 802 EAB, H/Q Co. Our outfit was called SCARWAF. It was made up of army and air force personnel because the air force had no engineers and the army did. SCARWAF stands for Special Category of the Army attached With the Air Force.
