My Brother Richard W. Godlewski was a POW in Korea with the 2nd Inf.Div.
He recently passed away. My Inquiry is about -Louis Giovanni who served in the
1st Marine Division. If he is the Louis that I knew he was awarded the Silver
Star? MY Uncle Zigmund Mackiewicz, and Stanley Mack also served in the 1St
Marine Division. I am a Korean War 100% disabled veteran. A lot of Bayonne
men joined the Marine Corp Reserve. And when the Korean War broke out they
where all called up to serve. My Brother, Richard had just Finished Tank
Training when the War broke out and was sent to Korea, Arriving in Dec. 1950
Can you tell me if he is the Louis that we grew up with. He may have known
Matty & Louis Petrone?

Looking for Terrence Aloysius Boyle. Was stationed at
Forbes AFB in 1953-54. He was the Irishman who had all
the women. If you know him or Terry reads this, pleas
contact me at my e-mail. (I remember vividly that he
was from Bayonne.)
