I was with the 2712 Communications Maintenance Squadron from 1956-1958.
Don't remember much interaction with the AP's except for a great football game in the spring of 1957 which we won, and I was the middle linebacker who intercepted a pass in the fourth quarter which we turned into the winning score. There was a lot of celebrating that night, I'll tell you.
The other thing I remember was you fellows on gate duty, but I don't remember you guts having any JN's with you, yet on other websites about Tachi I read about JN's checking passes.
We always left the base in my buddies black 1941 Lincoln Zephyr. It's a car you may remember.
