Comments: Hospital Apprentice Doucette was a member of the U.S. Navy serving in the vicinity of Weapons Company, 1st Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division. While returning in a vehicle with wounded on September 24, 1950 at the Han River, South Korea, he was Killed in Action from head wounds. He was known as "Sonny" to his family and friends. His nickname was also "Magoose."
Son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph H. Doucette of Reading, Pennsylvania.
