Comments: Second Lieutenant Cummings was a member of the 224th Infantry Regiment, 40th Infantry Division. He was Killed in Action while fighting the enemy in North Korea on April 14, 1953. He was originally from Alabama. His father worked for the United States Navy.

Son of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert C. Cummings Sr., of Atlanta, Georgia.
