Comments: Corporal Nordin was a member of Company K, 3rd Battalion, 35th Infantry Regiment, 25th Infantry Division. He was seriously wounded by the enemy in South Korea on July 27, 1950 and returned to duty on August 21, 1950. He was taken Prisoner of War while fighting the enemy in North Korea on November 28, 1950 and died while a prisoner on January 22, 1951. His remains were reported Accounted For on September 6, 2016. Burial at Tahoma National Cemetery.
