Comments: Hospitalman Hoeschen Third Class was attached to Company C, 1st Battalion, 5th Marines, 1st Marine Division. He suffered extreme leg wounds, while tending his wounded comrades near Kaesong-ni, Korea and died on August 8, 1952. His friends knew him as "Kenny."

Son of Mrs. and Mrs. Frank Hoeschen of Albany, Minnesota.
