Comments: Corporal Hamlin was a member of Company F, 2nd Battalion, 5th Marines, 1st Marine Division. He was Killed in Action while fighting the enemy in Korea on November 28, 1950. His remains were not recovered. Toledo Blade on December 24, 1950. He was known as "Jim." Per USMC file, he was buried in mass grave at Yudam-ni as fighting forced evacuation.
Son of Charles C. Hamlin and Helena Hamlin of Toledo, Ohio.
