My older brother and I are trying to find out some information about out
father, Gabriel Ciraolo. He was in the First Marine Div. 1st Combat
Service Group. He recieved a Purple Heart from Korea about 1950 to
1952??
I'll have to look up his papers to get the exact dates. Any way, he
never explained how he recieved the Heart, he would never talk about any
thing of the war. Are there any records of these awards? Can you
reccommend any sites.

We have no information on Gabriel, if anyone can help out, do
contact us, asap. - Ted

I am a former corpsman with the first combat service group and the
first battalion fifth marines. Korea from August 1950 to March 1951.
Interested in locating SGT Fred Crum or any other Navy corpsman
serving with the Fist Provisional Marine Brigade in Korea during that
time.
