comments: Has there ever been a 11th regiment reunion? I have been to
many conventions where other Regiments have gotten together, but never
the 11th Regiment. Maybe if more of us joined the Marine Corps League we
could get the word out to more of us, by way of their quarterly
magazine. Is there a 11th Marine Regiment Assoc. ?

Dear Mr. Barker,

I am looking for Corpman Kirkpatrick who was attached to the 1st marine
div. H-3-11 in early 1952.

We know he was there April-June and maybe longer. He treated my father,
Glynn Ellis in June of 1952. My father would be thrilled to find him.

Thank You for your efforts,

A good friend of mine and a Korean War Vet is searching for the
correct spelling of an KIA on December 7, 1950 Marine Sgt.

His name is Leland E. (Ernest) Ehrlich, or Erlich or Ehrich.
He was in the 7th Marine Corps, a Sgt. and was killed He would
also like to contact the surviwing familiy, if possible.

Since my friend Arthur Dorie is very ill, this is very importent
to him.

tnx for a prompt reply

Many thanks for the correct spelling of the last name of KIA
Marine Sgt. Leland E. Ehrlich. I am a writer of history in song
of heroes and battles of the early war in Korea, and I have used
Ehrlich's name in one of my 38 ballads now being recorded for
relase in CD and cassette format in mid-1996 under title,
"THIS SAVAGE WAR".
