Robert E. Olson

Mr. Barker,

I'm assisting my friend Harry Copland, a Korean War Veteran, in his
attempt to locate a fellow Korean War Veteran, an Air Force officer that
was assigned to the 90th Bomb Squadron in 1952. The individual's name is
Robert E. Olson, Serial Number AO2084387.

Harry served in the Squadron with Robert E. Olson at the same time. His
veterans association is trying to contact all the men that served in
this squadron and they have had no luck with this particular individual.

If you have any information that would assist us with this effort it
would be appreciated.

Sincerely, Russ Chalmers

Reported MIA 12/26/52,

1st. Lieut. Norman E. Bowen #AO1912222

Reported MIA 12/26/52, changed to KIA 9/1/53 (or therabouts)
Very mysterious circumstances surrounding duties and disappearance.
Many documents classified up to last inquiry (6/77).
Any documents now de-classified surrounding aforementioned issues would
be viewed with interest and appreciation.

He took training at (among other places) Langley and flew attached to
bomber group, but according to one or two I spoke with, his particular
unit operated independantly of the bombing group.
