From Col Bud Biteman, while explaining the role of the 6002nd:

" Actually, the 6002 was not a fighter bomber wing, but served as the air base support wing for the 18th fighter bomber wing as it wandered around the various korean bases... k-2, k-9, k-10, k-16, k-24, k-46, k-55 et al."

Hi
I was wondering if you had anything on the 6002 fgt bomber f-51
in the early years of the korean war,I was at k-9 then on to k-13 north 
korea for xmas 1950 and the outfit changed  names at that time to I 
BELIEVE THE: 67 ftr bomber and evacuated to suwon korea any info would
be appericated.
