Hello,

I am the daughter of a Korean War Vet. My mother only remembers that my
father was in the 5th Airforce, 25th Fighter Interception Squadron.

He was killed in 1950 or 1951. I am having trouble finding out any
information, maybe the numbers are wrong. I would like to know how I
would go about finding out if any of the bones that have been
retrieved from Korea are his or just any information you would have at
all about him.

Louis Norgall Christensen, USAF

Thank you

I was a hydraulic specialist on the F-86 flight line. I was with the
51st when the transition from F-80's to F-86's was made.

To Those Who Served,

I am looking for anyone who was a member of the above unit. My brother
1st Lt. Richard S. Drezen Jr. was a pilot in the above organization from
November 1951 to July 1952. He was shot down and classified as a MIA on
July 19, 1952. We have heard nothing from the Goverment concering this
matter, since notification of MIA status.

My brother is dead, this I know. I need to find him if possible, and
lace him beside my mother. I need to do this so they both can rest in
eternal peace.

If all of us, the surviving members of loved ones, pull together, it
will make a difference, concerning our POWS and MIAS. If anyone
has any information, please contact me at my E-mail address:

More on Lt. Drezen

Dear Sir; (Col Biteman)

Thank you for your response. I have been sent a complete file from the
Air Force, containing witness reports and final status. It would appear
from the witness reports that my brother perished, when his F86
exploded. As the reports state, they did not see any chute, nor did they
see the canopy detach prior to explosion. I guess it's time to lay him
to rest. After what I have read about the Russians, and our F86 pilots,
maybe this is the best news.

In every conflict we loose those, that we love. My brother has taken his
place in history, with others like himself. War is a period of futility.

No one really wins.

Thank you very much. My brother was with the 25th Fighter Interceptor
wing located in Suwon South Korea.

I served in the Navy from 1950-1954. I did two tours with VF-114
aboard the Philippine Sea CV-47. Then I transferred to VS-38 and did
1 tour with that squadron aboard several CVE's; in Japan; and trips to
Hong Kong; Subic Bay; off Formossa; South China Sea.

I am seeking the following:

Squadron mates from both VF-114 and VS-38.

Aso, my brother, 2nd. Lt. William M. Carter was killed while flying an
F-51 while serving with the Air Force.

He went down off Korea on 10 Oct. 1950. He was in the 25th.
Fighter/Intercepter Squadron.

Anyone who knew him or served with him, I would like to hear.

Thanks,
Frank L. Carter

I was looking for my fathers brother. He was a MIA during the Korean
War.

Flew a Shooting Star, with "Every things Jake" on the side. I can't
seem to locate anything about him and DAD dosen't talk much of him.

His name is "HARRISON CHASE JACOBS" and was a Lt. Any assistance
would be great.

E-mail at Chutie@AOL.COM or Chutie@JUNO.COM Thank YOU!
