The name of our unit was: First Shoran Beacon Unit. There were four groups of men and our headquarters. Two units in Korea and one in Japan and Okinawa (this is what we heard. Anyway we went up and down with the front lines and set up radar stations on high hills to send out radar beams with an other unit. Our headings crossed over a target and air plane bombs were dropped over the target. Do you have any Idea how I might find the Unit history? Wish it was listed on your site. I don't know which air force we were in but may have been the 5th. Ned Scholz nedscholz@yahoo.com
