I am writing on behalf of my dad, John Dolph, who was in VP6,
Patrol Squadron 6, US Navy, from 1950-52. He would like to hear
from others in his squadron, and would also like to receive reunion
notices. His address is:

Dad has a lot of film footage of Korea and Japan from this time,
including from when he flew over Vladivostok. (He now has it on video)

I am looking for information on a Navy crew member of a P2V Neptune
partol bomber shot down near Vladivostock Russia in 1952. while on a
patrol mission.

The person was a member of Navy Partol Squadron 6 (VP 6), stationed in
Japan. His name is Ralph Wiggert, and was Navy Reserve, called back for
the Korean War. I do not know if he was listed as KIA or MIA since

We never found any wreckage of the aircraft nor was there any
acknowledgement by North Korea or Russia of this incident.
