I came across your page the other day and thought you or some of the
people out there help me find information about my Great Uncle who is
MIA from the Korean War. Any information on him would be greatly
appreciated by our whole family. This is all we know about him...
His name is Roger Lewis Vote born Feb. 19, 1932. He was raised in
Michigan and had sisters and a brother. He was reported missing on Oct
27, 1951.
He was aboard the USS Wiltsie. On this ship he was a Seaman gunner.
The USS Wiltsie was about 200 miles West of Oahu. He and his friend
Jack Sanford of San Diego were both reported missing.
The men on this ship downed 4 Russian planes that had North Korean
pilots. Roger did have a girlfriend, Pat, my grandma recalls.
This is all we know about his disapperance. If anyone knows anything
about him or his friend, Jack, please let us know.
Thank you.

I am on the adoption team of OJC. I got an adoption request for a

I don't have anything on him and checked your data base and can find
nothing on him. Would you have any idea where I can locate this man.
His nephew wants to find out what he can on him to do a web page etc.
Thanks for any help you can give me.
