membership plus fourteen former Commanding Officers .
Ship is presently moored in Bremerton, Washington, waiting for

Reunion Group of former Radarman and Officers of the Combat Information
Center that served from 1962 to 1966. With my computer and the ability
to use it (retired Software Engineer) I have located 70 of the 142
members that served during that era.
We are dedicated to having Reunions, where we can all sit around talking
of old times (old times are always better than new ones), having a few
brews, telling a few sea stories and making up new ones if old ones
don't come to mind. At the present time we don't even collect dues, we
pass the hat when monies are needed.
I publish a 10/12 page newsletter every other month, with reunion info,
ex-shipmates found, pictures of the guys from Midway days(members have
found) and other items of interest.

i later transfered to Chaplains office, serving with CDR Shearer the
Protestant chaplain. Skipper then was Cpt King. the XO was the Cdr
Ellsworth the same man who was the man who armed the A bomb on the
Anola Gay for the drop on Hiroshima. Would like to hear about reunions
in the So Cal L.A. area. Iuderstand the Midway is anchored in San
Diego.
