Donald Cummings Email address

I am one of the 61 survivors and have a 49 yr. old list of fellow
survivors incl. addresses, Rank or rate, and am trying to develop
present addresses to invite each one to our 50th Anniv. Reunion in
Charleston, SC on 26-28 Apr '02.
We have 15 addresses of recent reunion attendees, but are 'in the dark'
regarding the other 46 men - and we are requesting your expeditious help,
since we have only 30 days!
Thank you,
Lt. Donald E. Cummings, USN Retired.

My father was on the USS Columbus during Korea. He served with two
friends who were in with him. Himself and his two friends put in a
request to be switched to the USS Hobson. Well his two friends were
transfered and his orders were denied. I don't have to tell you what
happened to the Hobson. Well anyway, both of his friends were on the
ship when it crashed with the Wasp and they were both killed.
He stayed and lived, and it bothers him to talk about it. I recently
did a search in you KIA database with the names he gave me and they
did not show up in your database. All I currently have is there
last names, Marabella, or somthing like that, and Algaso. I am not
sure of the spellings since he does not always spell correctly. Is
there anything or anyway, I can find a different search or something?
Or more information on either the USS Hobson or something.
Thank You in advance,
Kevin Long

My Dad's name is Joseph Howard Arsenault, (Howie).
At this time he is visiting my brother in Florida and on his drive down
was able to visit the monument. This somewhat put some closure to being
unable to say goodbye to so many.
