Mr. Barker:
I'm trying to put together a Christmas present for my stepfather to
commemorate his Korea service. He still finds it very difficult to talk
about, and I think this memento would go a long way to helping him come
to terms with his experiences. All I know for sure is that he was in
the 2d Infantry Division, in a tank company that called itself the
"Manchus" that was part of an infantry regiment (perhaps the 7th?).
I'm certain he was not in a larger tank formation, because he and his
crew were awarded
CIBs.
They fought in Sherman M4E8s. I'd like to find out what the outfit was
and order him a nice unit crest, etc.

My father is a korean war vet. i have been copying alot of your pages
for him. he was a tank commander and has attended two reunions in the
last two years.
It has really helped him to get in touch with old buddies and talk
about the war.

I am looking for information on Robert Baker and Malcom Tilton. We
served together with a tank unit attached to the 9th Infantry Regiment
from about April 1951 to May 1952. If you could put this on the net, I
would appreciate it very much. Thank you and God bless.
