I am looking for any one remembering a Rene Robert Faucher.

He is my uncle that I have not seen in 25 years this Christmas. I have
located his discharge records that give the following information.H&SCo
76th Engr Const Bn APO 301. He spent 8wks in Eta Jima, Japan 1953.

He received 3 bronze Service Stars, U.N.Service Medal, National Defense
Service Medal, and Meritious Unit Commendation. I have pictures of a
friend from that time but have no idea who it is. The discharge paper
is dated March, 1954 and I believe he had been in for 2 years. If you
would be so kind to post this I would greatly appreciate any
information anyone would have. thank you Denise Vachon-Dickinson

I would like to know what type of combat they were involved in, as
well as the construction projects they were involved in.
Can you help?
