POW Died in Camp Johnson's List

Subject: Korean POW/MIA

I am trying to find anyone with information about my uncle, CPL
John Philip Kendig, who was assigned to 24th Div, 63rd Field
Artillery,Battery B, who was listed as mia on 14 July, 1950 near
Sang Yo-Ri(?)

He was later listed as dying of pneumonia on 5 January, 1951, in an
unnamed POW camp. He was from York, Pa., and I believe his id number is
RA13 301 429. Where or how do I start looking for information. My
family would really like to know more, but information they got from the
army is sketchy. Any assistance or direction is appreciated.

Thank You,

Philip Bond
