Regarding my cousin, PFC Robert E. Sullivan RA 111-761-100, "K" Co
of the famous 187th Airborne RCT, who was KIA on 14 February 1951 on
hill 342 at Wonju, Korea.

I would wholeheartedly welcome hearing from any "Rakkasan" who knew or
remembers him. He (Robert E. Sullivan) was from Boston, Ma and assigned
to "K" Co of the famous 187th ARCT.

Incidentally but related, I am proud to say that I am a long time
proud life member within the ranks of the famous and legendary "187th
Airborne R.C.T. Association." Joining, many years ago, in honor of my
first cousin, who I still remember from our youth, and qualifying to
join because way back to 11 January 1957, during my military years, it
was my good fortune somehow to be temporarily assigned (from my own
unit, A Co., 506th Airborne Combat Group, 101st. Airborne Division) to
Bravo Co. of the 187th Airborne Combat Group, during operation
"Jump-Light" jumping with them (the 187th) from C-119 flying boxcars
onto Normandy drop zone at Ft. Bragg, North Carolina, and fate-wise it
proved to be, remained "attached" to the 187th for the next eleven days
(and nights).

I don't remember what the circumstances were that caused that temporary
assignment to occur, I was a PFC not an Officer but it happened and it's
recorded in my jump log.

I'm at your service.

several of us in the same tent or ward and on about the third day, a
Col. and some others came around and were giving the injured shots of
sodium pentathol, I guess to check to see if anybody was faking it.

They could't locate any injured as I recall, but after a hefty shot of
