Dear Ted

I was assigned to the 145th Field Artillery Bn. which was IX Corps
artillery. When the entire unit was rotated back to Japan the
number was changed to 612th FABn.

I was a tracked vehicle mechanic. In Korea we had trail 155 mm,
Long Toms. In Japan the 155's were self-propelled. I would like to
find an address for my buddy from New York city, Wally Fielder,
who was a FO.

Thanks for your efforts.
