Comments: Corporal Frizzell was a member of Company G, 3rd Battalion, 7th Marines, 1st Marine Division. He was Killed in Action while fighting the enemy in Korea on January 29, 1951. From Douglas Frizzell: I am Gerald Kenneth Frizzell's son. His date of death according to his service record book and USMC Death Certificate was January 29, 1951, not January 25. You list his grade as corporal E-4, I believe the E designations were not being used in 1951. Regarding his burial, he has a plot at Forest Lawn, Glendale, CA but his military death certificate states he was buried in Korea.
Son of Kenneth G. Frizzell and Gladys Frizzell. Husband of Mrs. Marian I. Frizzell of Los Angeles, California.

Final Disposition Date: January 25, 1951
