Comments: Private First Class Dye was a member of the Ammunition Company, 1st Ordnance Battalion, 1st Marine Division. He was listed as Missing in Action while fighting the enemy in Korea on November 30, 1950. He was presumed dead on November 30, 1953. He was born in Hanging Rock West Virginia. His family had moved to Hagerstown, Maryland much later.
