Comments: USNA Class of 1938, Major Radcliffe was a member of Headquarters, 7th Marines, 1st Marine Division. He was seriously wounded while fighting the enemy in Korea and died of those wounds on December 7, 1950. His brother, Melvin Radcliffe, also a graduate of the Naval Academy, was Killed In Action on the destroyer Sims during the Battle of the Coral Sea in WW II.
Son of Arthur Dorrance Radcliffe and Pearl Sielaff Radcliffe of Sparks, Nevada. Husband of Mrs. Regina G. Radcliffe of Newport, Rhode Island.
