Comments: Corporal Miyashiro was a member of Company G, 2nd Battalion, 5th Infantry Regimental Combat Team. He was seriously wounded by the enemy at "Fox Hill" (Hill 342), near Yada-san, South Korea on August 3, 1950 and returned to duty on September 15, 1950. He was Killed in Action while fighting the enemy near Yang-ni, South Korea on October 2, 1950.

His brother Daniel Teiso Miyashiro was Killed in Action while serving with the 19th Infantry Regiment on July 16, 1950.
Son of Teiki Miyashiro and Ushi Agina Miyashiro of Koloa, Kauai, Hawaii.
