Comments: I am going through my father's photos from Korea. I believe he served with John C. Street - the one listed in your REMEMBRANCE register. He had written notes on the reverse side of many of his photos. He has hundreds of photos from the Korean War (1950-1952): Ft. Jackson, Japan, Korea.
If any of his family members are looking for photos of John Street while in Korea, I believe I have 3 or 4. (One of the notes says James Street (KY) but the others say John Street.)
Just FYI - My father (Blaine Friedlander of Falls Church VA) was also an early member of the KWVA, and also worked on fund raising for the KWV Memorial in DC. He was also a Past Post Commander of VFW Post 8469 of Fairfax, VA -- and this group was involved in the KW Memorial as well.
I would like to become a member/patron of your KWProject, in my father's memory. He died last July, 2013. He was very passionate about the Memorial, as well as about bringing remains back to US soil - and went with a delegation once or twice to Korea for the purpose of bringing back our troops.
