Comments: I am a reporter for the Bergen Record in New Jersey. I
recently wrote a story about Donald Domsky. He was
found dead in his home two weeks ago. Police believe he
had been dead for more than a year before they found
him there. I have been trying to find out more about
his life, but very few people remember him. His sister
is not speaking to us. I was able to find out that he
was a member of the Rakassan Association, and a member
of C Battery. He was a very big guy, and smart from
what people who knew him as acquaintances could tell
me. I would love to find anyone who might have known
him when he was in the Army. Thank you.

Comments: My father, Capt. Roy B. Gentry, Sr. served very proudly with the 674 FA Bn, 187th RCT. He received a Silver Star at the Battle of the Bulge plus a Purple Heart and Battle Field Commission. He received a Bronze Star Medal and another Purple Heart in Korea. My mother and I moved to Camp Wood in Kumomoto, Japan in 1952. I attended first grade and part of the second grade there. We lived across from the officers club. My dad passed away while on active duty in 1960 while stationed at Ft. Bragg, NC. We also lived in Augsburg, Germany from 1955 to 1958 while he was the DivArty Adjutant (11th Airborne Division.) I would really appreciate hearing from anyone who knew my father and so would my brother Hank. Our mom (Kitty Gentry) died in Fayetteville, NC on 15May00. She loved Army life and use to tell us many wonderful stories. I served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1965 to 1985 (retired). I served in Vietnam with the 3rd Bn 7thMar 1stMarDiv from 1966 - 1967. I am now 54 years old and it would mean so much to my family to hear from my fathers brother warriors. "We have all drunk from the same canteen."
