==========================================================
From: Charles R. Taliaferro crtnjt@pacbell.net
Subject: THE KITCHEN TABLE GANG
We are having trouble getting the word out about the Kitchen Table Gang and its project of providing a little "R & R" to hospitalized veterans.
We don't have bulk email facilities nor would we want it, we depend on a grass-roots effort to get the word out about us. To this end, I would greatly appreciate it if you would visit our web site at:
We just wanted to tell you about our project to assist our military veterans with something to pass the time away while they are in a VA hospital.
If you were ever wounded or had an illness and spent
some time recovering in a VA or military medical facility, then you know of what we speak. Please visit our new web site at:

c. Novel in progress: Dentists in Korea from Brooklyn, by
Carol Abrams at: AbramsC@aol.com
Dear Mr. Barker, I am writing a novel in which one of the main characters is
a dentist from Brooklyn who is drafted into the Army during the Korean War. Naturally his life, and that of his family, are changed forever by his experiences.
I wonder if you know any dentists, vets from Brooklyn, or how I can contact such people to see if they'll share their experiences with me.
