Notes

58 sons of Texas A & M University died while in service to their county during the Korean War. Seven of these Aggies were awarded the Silver Star. Several others received the DSC or Distinguished Service Cross. Several also received the DFC or Distinguished Flying Cross.

A total of 1719 men from Texas died or were declared missing during the war years 1950 -1953. A Texas Memorial to honor the dead from the war is in the planning stages.
