I'm looking for any information on my Dad's service in the Korean
War. He was in the first group in and the first group out. One of
few from the Chosin resevoir that came back. He was Buck Sergeant
David Moffatt Miles Jr., and was a Radio Communications Groundman on
the Front Lines.
Please send me any information you may have or contacts that may
have served with him in 1950.
Thank you, Mindy McClain

Ted,
Thank you very much and God bless you for your effort. Yes I was in the
Chosin Res.. One of the first up there.
It was a little cold. We were told it was 35 below when we were there.
On the Discovery Channel they said it was 40 below. Then I read on the
Internet that it only 20 below. but any one who was up there could only
say "IT WAS TO DAMM COLD FOR ANYONE".
I would like it very much if you could help me out and finding Cpl.
Gerald Jackson. Its been a long time but I still think I owe him
something. God bless you and all you do.
We were both radio Ops. I worked as forward observer and laison.
Gerry did his thing 11th Marine Headquarters.
