The advanced unit of the 590th Signal co. arrived in Korea from Ft. 
Lewis in Oct '50.  No one seemed to know what we were doing there, so
we were initially assigned as a GHQ unit.  In Nov '50, we were finally
assigned to 8th Army.  

Our unit was fragmented at platoon level with the primary
responsibility of constructing and maintaining long line communication. 
Our unit's movements ranged from Pyong Yang to Pusan.  At this time I
am only in contact with one member of my unit, James L. Rouse, of Ft
Pierce, FL.

Prior to separating from our unit, we all promised to have a reunion. 
It never happened.  Any former members of my unit, please contact me.
