Any information on this unit past to present would be appreciated. 

I am writing a story of my families history with a chapter on my life 
history to date and would like to include as much on the military portion 
as possible.

In Sept. 1994 my wife and I drove from Salem, OR to Aberdeen Proving 
grounds, MD where I had basic training. Another trip in the future will 
take us to Atlanta General Depot just south of Atlanta, GA (if it is 
still there).
