If you remember Donnie and can tell us anything you remember about him, or if he was buried on the battlefield. He was 18 years old, and from Burlington, IA. We deeply appreciate any and all information. Thanks to all Vets for the sacrifices they have made in the name of Freedom.

I have found information regarding the battle of the Hook where several of the 1 Mar Div died. Was wondering if it could have been there. I would like to hear from anyone who might have known him or who could give me information regarding that battle or tell me how to find more information. --- And to all who have served, thank you!

Comments: I'm looking for any guys who'd have served with my Dad, James "Jim" Noble of Rockford, Illinois, in Co. E, 2nd Btn, 7th Marines, First Marine Division in Korea .. Dad was over there from Feb 1952-March 1953 as a machine-gun platoon sergeant, and later wound up his USMC service at Great Lakes Naval Base in Waukegan, Illinois. Sadly, he passed away in June 1982. I'm doing genealogical research, and simply would like to talk with anyone who knew my Dad back in those days and could tell me a little bit about the work and the battles in which he and his company would have been involved. You can reach me at noble-s@sbcglobal.net .. thanks very much, and God bless all who served our country -- Sean Noble
